What is Gastronorm?

The advantages of polycarbonate

Using polycarbonate in GN containers brings many advantages. The material is virtually indestructible and, thanks to its transparency, can be seen through from every side, so you can identify the contents of the container. It is also an odour-neutral and taste-neutral material that does not absorb those properties from the food. The biggest advantage, however, lies in how easy it is to clean. Polycarbonate GN containers are dishwasher safe, dry quickly and are temperature resistant from -40 to 100 °C. This GN container also has folded edges and rounded corners for extra grip, which makes it safe and simple to handle.
